Nightmare Town (Sullivan Square version) (3.3 MB, 3:42) The original version of this song appears on The Swing. This was recorded for a collection of songs by Vermont artists called "Sullivan Square," available through The Vermont Music Shop.

The Big Men Came (3.8 MB, 4:07) Originally released on my 1992 tape, "Picture Perfect Fool," this song has been re-recorded and minimally changed to sum up my feelings about modern-day life in Ashcroft's America.

Lucy, Get Down (2.8 MB, 3:07) Originally recorded for a compilation of songs about dogs called "Man's Best Friend." I don't own a dog, so I used a loaner to write this song.

Everything But Scattered (2.8 MB, 3:05) The relationship in this song is so frenzied and intense that you may need a scorecard to keep up. (Hah! Another sports metaphor!)

Talking Election 2K Blues (3.9 MB, 4:15) This little ditty commemorates the beginning of our current national nightmare... should have known then it wasn't going to get any better.

Viral Love (2.5 MB, 2:44) This was written wayyy back in 1999, when everybody was already paranoid about the coming Y2K thing, and suddenly had to contend with the Melissa virus, which announced its presence as an email with the subject line "I LOVE YOU." It's sad how little it takes to inspire a song sometimes.
